About Us : Motivation
Our motivation for seeking to help all those who find themselves in a place of need comes from John 3:16-18.
"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for
our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be
in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in the truth."
As an organization with a Christian foundation, we abide by the following statement of faith:
We believe in the
triune God; One God who is Three Persons. We believe in God the Father
almighty, creator of all things. We believe in Jesus Christ, his only
Begotten Son, Our Lord. We believe that He was born of the Virgin Mary,
that he lived a sinless life and voluntarily atoned for our sins by dying
on the cross. We believe He died, was buried, and on the third day rose
again. We believe He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of
the Father as our High Priest and Mediator. We believe He will come again
to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit; our
counselor, comforter and enlightener. He indwells each believer, guiding,
transforming, equipping, and empowering us for godly living and service. We
believe that the Bible is divinely inspired, infallible, entirely
trustworthy, timeless and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and
conduct. We believe in the forgiveness of sins through repentance and faith
in Jesus Christ. We believe in the resurrection of believers and the
universal and apostolic church.
